Sivi Elsensohn Miller has worn many hats throughout her young lifetime. She has competed athletically at all levels – playground, middle school, high school, college and professional. Sivi was a five-sport athlete and letter winner at Andrew Jackson High School. She was also named a Carnation All-American Athlete. Mrs. Miller had a stellar career at Tulane University, then qualified and competed in the AVP (Association of Volleyball Professionals) in sand volleyball.
This extraordinary young lady has a lifelong involvement in all 3 phases of the sport of volleyball:
1) Athlete 2) Coach 3) Administrative. Sivi has over 700 coaching wins and always has a winning season whether as a coach or a player. As a coach, she averages approximately 30 wins per season. She is second to none in the world of Volleyball. Sivi married her high school sweetheart, Mike, who played football and track for Chalmette High School. They have two beautiful children, Morgan and Melanie, who both played collegiate volleyball, Southeastern Louisiana University (Morgan) and University of Southern Mississippi (Melanie).
